Fanfare of Adolescence continues to be an entertaining series and introduces a new compelling character!”

It is Saturday so this means we are back with another episode of Fanfare of Adolescence.

THE RIVAL

Last week’s episode ended with the arrival of Amane Grace. He is an English boy who serves as the rival for the team. So it only makes sense that this week’s episode reveals more about this new character. And at first, it does appear as what you would expect from a rival. Indeed, he is arrogant and mean. But he is also a gifted jockey. Which, partly explains his behavior. Thus, it doesn’t work exactly well with the team. He arrives and ruins the dynamic. In the first part of the episode, he is exactly the type of character you love to hate.

RUN AWAY AT NIGHT

However, not everything is at it seems. Indeed, as the story progresses, we learn that maybe Amane is not all mean. As he runs away at night with Shun and he ends up facing his other schoolmates, he reveals another side of himself. He is still arrogant but during the second part of the episode, you can clearly tell there is more to that character. Thus, it makes him compelling. By the end of the episode, I felt like wanting to know more about Amane. And this is a good thing.

Moreover, this episode also features some good interactions between the team. I like the dynamic between the characters.  They are all different but they all stick together and bond over their passion.
