Every journey comes to an end. The final season of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous arrives on Netflix this July
The animated adventures of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous are finally coming to an end. With Jurassic World: Dominion set to culminate the saga this summer, Netflix has confirmed that the fifth season of the hit animated series will be its last. The series has enjoyed its fair share of highs and lows, with the second season sticking out as a highlight. But with Michael Crichton’s original vision finally bringing this chapter of the franchise to a close; the studio has decided that there is no room for the animated series to continue.

LIFE FINDS A WAY
Debuting in 2020, the series has focused on six teenagers who, after the fall of the Jurassic World theme park, found themselves stranded on Isla Nublar and fighting for their lives against an endless horde of ravenous dinosaurs. The series has seen some heart-stopping encounters with Rexy the Tyrannosaurus Rex, Blue the Velociraptor, and the fearsome Indominus Rex. As well as a few genetically engineered critters that were created just for the show. Namely, the ferocious Scorpios Rex. And the final season looks no different. The new trailer reveals some fast and furious encounters with many of the franchise’s most beloved dinos. But don’t take my word for it, check out the trailer below.
DOMINION
The series looks to be going out on a high and will tie in with the big-screen outing in almost every sense. This is encapsulated by the return of the iconic Dilophosaurus, which will make its long-awaited return to the big screen in Dominion. And the discovery of Dennis Nedry’s Barbasol shaving cream can from the original Jurassic Park. A custom-built transportation device for cryogenically frozen dinosaur embryos. It remains to be seen how this will impact the events of Dominion. But it’s going to be an exciting thrill ride nonetheless. And just when the franchise, in its current form, comes to a close, fans can look forward to one last blast from the Camp Cretaceous kids before the era of dinosaurs heads off into the sunset.

The final season of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous streams on Netflix on July 21, 2022.
