Lucasfilm Games and Skydance have announced a collaboration to create an all-new Star Wars adventure game
We have some exciting news from the Star Wars universe. Lucasfilm Games and Skydance have announced a landmark collaboration to create an all-new action-adventure game. The new project has been confirmed to be a narrative-driven original story set against the backdrop of the galaxy far, far away.
Helming Skydance New Media is award-winning writer and director Amy Henning, a game-industry legend whose credits include the Uncharted series. And in an interview with the official Star Wars website, she opened up about her love of the galaxy far, far away and her excitement for the project.
“I’ve often described how seeing Star Wars in 1977 essentially rewired my 12-year-old brain, shaping my creative life and future indelibly,” said Hennig, president, Skydance New Media. “I’m elated to be working with Lucasfilm Games again to tell interactive stories in this galaxy that I love.”

PROSPECTS
As of press time, Lucasfilm Games hasn’t elaborated on what we can expect from the new game. But, just the thought of an expansive new narrative-driven original story set in the SW universe is an exciting prospect. And its announcement will only dare the fans to dream of big things to come.
