Beware of Zenobia’s dark powers because Star Ace Toys has announced a new statue of Minaton from Ray Harryhausen’s Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger. In the film, the evil witch Zenobia creates a bronze minotaur and brings it to life using her dark magic. Once animated by Ray Harryhausen’s unmatched mastery, Minaton is brought to life to serve as Zenobia’s henchman. And he aids in her quest to reach the temple of the Arimaspi ahead of Sinbad and his brave crew.
THE STATUE
Minaton is regarded as one of Ray’s finest creations. And once Star Wars veteran Peter Mayhew was cast as the character’s human performer, the combination was nothing short of magical. And now, Star Ace Toys has recreated their brilliance in their latest creation. The 20″ tall statue features Minaton clutching his giant bronze spear in his right hand. But there’s plenty more to get excited about. That’s because there are multiple versions available to order. There is the Normal Version, the Deluxe Version, and the Special Version.
