As with the other season finales of Marvel series’ apart from Loki, it is an action-packed and epic episode. And this one sure delivers in terms of action. It is a confrontation between Gods and Avatars. I wanted to see more action scenes with Moon Knight we got a lot in this episode. I love the development there has been with Marc and Steven throughout the series. They started as conflicted personalities. Though, in episode 5 they learned how to coexist because they are the same. So, this episode is the culmination of who Marc/Steven is. There is a lot to unpack in this episode. And I think it is exactly what you would expect from an MCU finale – fast pace with action but also emotion.

Although this episode satisfyingly concludes this story, the door is left open for more. So make sure to watch the mid-credits scene. Because it will leave all comic fans gasping at what happens!

LAYLA AND REPRESENTATION

Right from the start, Layla appeared as more than just a love interest for Marc and Steven. She is a strong character. The finale takes an unexpected turn with her, which is so important for representation. There is a scene, in particular, that is going to mean so much for a lot of people. That is what matters. Once again, Marvel Studios proves they are at the forefront of bringing diversity to audiences around the world. And it makes all the difference when everyone can see themselves in the characters.

VERDICT

Moon Knight confirms its place as the best MCU series with an epic conclusion.
