Obi-Wan Kenobi

Ewan McGregor’s beloved Jedi Master ignites his Lightsaber and prepares for battle in the latest promo still from Obi-Wan Kenobi

We are just under two weeks away from reuniting with Obi-Wan Kenobi and the promotional campaign is kicking into high gear. Over the past few days, Lucasfilm has been sharing some juicy new promo stills from the series. And they have really got the old Jedi juices flowing. Whether it’s Darth Vader or Kenobi that tickles your Tauntaun; new images are hitting the hyperspace lanes all the time. And today, Empire has dropped a brand-new look at the Jedi Master sporting his new “Wandering Jedi” attire. The still appears to be a standard promo piece, and probably won’t feature in the series. But any excuse to get a new look at Obi-Wan is always welcome. Check it out below:

A New Look At Obi-Wan Kenobi From Empire

WANDERING JEDI

It does seem a little out of place to see Kenobi sporting anything other than his traditional Jedi robes. But McGregor looks back to his brilliant best in this new “Wandering Jedi” look. With Obi-Wan maintaining a low profile, a change of attire is an obvious necessity, especially with the Inquisitors hot on his trail. And this will be the first of many costumes changes our beloved Jedi will utilize throughout the series. After all, we’ve already seen him sporting a similar fashion style to Bail Organa in some of the promotional material hinting at a possible reunion somewhere down the line. And that is an exciting prospect. And when you add the inevitable clash with Darth Vader into the mix, this series just went from unmissable to mandatory viewing.

SYNOPSIS
