Get ready to make the pilgrimage to Europe because Star Wars Celebration returns to London’s ExCel Arena in April 2023
Star Wars Celebration 2023 has landed a new home. During the closing ceremony of this year’s event in Anaheim; Lucasfilm confirmed that the mother of all events is returning to Europe in 2023. The Convention Center erupted in applause as The Grand Inquisitor himself Rupert Friend announced that London’s ExCel Arena will host the event between April 7-10 2023.
This brings the Europe Celebration total to four. The previous event hit UK shores in 2016 during the build-up to the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. And next year, fans will have tons to get excited about. By the time our boots hit the ground, we will be up to our eyeballs in The Mandalorian Season 3; with Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew looming on the horizon. Meaning fans making the pilgrimage to London are in with a shout of being the first people in the world to get a look at Rosario Dawson’s standalone series. Exciting times indeed!
And now, with the closing ceremony bringing the curtain down on another sensational event, we can all look back on what transpired. There was something for fans of all ages. From The Mandalorian Season 3 to Andor, and even Young Jedi Adventures, there was a relative feast of content. And that was just the tip of the iceberg.
