Although fans in the United States are swooning over Star Trek: Strange New Worlds on Paramount+, we in the UK are still waiting to get our first look. But rest assured U.S readers because our coverage of the series will not falter. So, without further ado, let’s fire up the impulse engines and set course for Episode 5!
SPOCK AMOK
With last’s week’s Gorn-fuelled episode fading into subspace, the next installment of Strange New Worlds finds the Enterprise in negotiations with an alien species. But when T’Pring visits the Enterprise, diplomacy gets put to the test and Spock’s emotions are put on trial. This episode is described as a romantic comedy. Yes, you heard right!
It’s a comedy of manners when Spock has a personal visit in the middle of Spock and Captain Pike’s crucial negotiations with an unusual alien species.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds stars Anson Mount as Captain Pike, Rebecca Romjin as Number One, and Ethan Peck as Spock.
