
Play It Cool, Guys unveils its first look.
We finally have our first look at the anime adaptation of Play It Cool, Guys. The series will run for two cours with each episode being 15 minutes long. It will start in October 2022 and Crunchyroll will stream it outside of Japan. For our first look we got a teaser, a poster and cast and crew announcements.
As for the main cast:
Chiaki Kobayashi as Hayate Ichikura
Koki Uchiyama as Shun Futami
Yuichiro Umehara as Takayuki Mima
Shoya Chiba as Soma Shiki
Play it Cool, Guys is based on Kokone Nata’s manga. The series is directed by Chiaki Kon at Studio Pierrot. Makoto Uezo acts as the lead writer. Eri Taguchi serves as both the character designer and the chief animation director. And Masato Nakayama is composing the score.
Yen Press, the English publisher of the mango provided the synopsis:
Enter: a group of cool guys who seem like they’ve got that unapproachable swag. But look closer and you’ll find a bunch of dorks who’ve gotten the act down pat. So sit back, grab some popcorn, and enjoy watching these clumsy dudes try to look cool all day, every day.
