After four sensational episodes, Star Wars fans are eating extremely well with Deborah Chow’s Obi-Wan Kenobi. The limited series has delivered many jaw-dropping moments so far. And most recently, Darth Vader returned in all his lethal glory to unleash the fury of the Sith on his former mentor, and despite her age, Princess Leia Organa has demonstrated her unswerving resiliency. And all this after just four episodes!
As is always the case, the series has been rewarded with a string of glorious character posters. And so far, the archive has been breathtaking. Ben Kenobi, The Grand Inquisitor; Reva, The Fifth Brother, Haja Estree, Princess Leia Organa, Darth Vader, Tala, and NED-B have all featured on a glossy one-sheet. But this week’s new release plants a seed of Rebellion…because Kawlan Roken; the leader of the underground railroad has arrived!
SEEDS OF REBELLION
The leader of a new breed of rebels has arrived! Last week we were introduced to Kawlan Roken; the leader of the Underground Railroad, the clandestine team responsible for shuttling fleeing Jedi away from the clutches of the Empire. And he made an instant impact on these series. After his initial resistance to help Ben Kenobi in his quest to rescue Princess Leia from the clutches of the Empire; Kawlan and his forces were instrumental in their escape. And although they paid a heavy price in the loss of their heroic freedom fighter Wade Resselian (Ryder McLaughlin), their role in the rest of the series appears to be crucial!
