Seth Rogen and Paramount Pictures have confirmed the title for the upcoming new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated movie. Get ready for some MUTANT MAYHEM!
After what has seemed like an eternity, Paramount Pictures and Seth Rogen have finally revealed the title of their upcoming TMNT animated feature. The new movie will hit our cinema screens in 2023 and is officially titled TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANT MAYHEM.
The title treatment was revealed gloriously when Rogen took to social media and unveiled a suitably cool mural. The impressive-looking artwork was plastered across a billboard in New York City with mutagen leaking from the logo. And emblazoned on the bottom was the official release date confirmed as 04/08/2023. Check out the mural below.

COWABUNGA!
The new CG-animated movie is being produced by Rogen’s production company Point Grey Pictures, alongside Nickelodeon Animation Studio. Paramount Pictures will distribute. Rogen said recently that the movie will focus more on the “teenage” aspects of the title treatment and hopes that the movie will serve as a platform for more TMNT animated fare.
The franchise is enjoying somewhat of a renaissance lately after the uber-popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge video game was released to rave reviews. The game is a direct sequel to the classic “Turtles In Time” video game from the early 90s. And it’s an absolute blast to play. So much so that the game shifted over one million copies in the first week of release.
Sadly, no casting details for the new movie have been revealed as of press time. But with production moving along at speed; surely it’s only a matter of time before we hear more from the creatives. However, it remains to be seen if Rogan and his impressive team can capture the same magic as Shredder’s Revenge. But with a well-oiled collaborative team on hand; surely we can look forward to something special when the movie hits cinemas next year.
