It’s time for Albus Potter to return to Hogwarts for his sixth year.
Today is September 1st, 2022, and Albus Potter will be departing from Platform 9 3/4 for his 6th year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. With his O.W.L.S. in the rearview mirror, Albus will enjoy (hopefully) his Sixth year as he prepares for next year’s N.E.W.T.S.
This is an interesting time for Al, as this was the last unofficial year that his father Harry Potter attended, as he hunted for Voldermort’s Horcruxes in his 7th year and was essentially a high school drop-out for all the RIGHT reasons.
The plot of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child escapes me as I was personally not a fan of the story and what I do remember probably should not have happened. I like to think Albus had a very ordinary tenure at Wizarding School as compared to his father and aunt and uncle, and perhaps J.K. Rowling will one day revisit and reformate his story into something quite…magical.
