Although Halloween is right around the corner, Netflix is busy packing its post-All Hallow’s Eve slate with some incredible content. And leading the charge is the hotly anticipated sequel Enola Holmes 2. Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, and Helena Bonham Carter are all returning for the hotly anticipated sequel. And eager to ensure we are suitably excited, Netflix has dropped a few new posters that introduce us to the characters that will carry the sequel forwards. And several new faces are joining the sleuthing adventures of the Holmeses.
The original film proved itself to be a runaway hit in 2020, with Bobby Brown’s performance being a highlight. So fans will be expecting the sequel to deliver in a big way. SYNOPSIS
Fresh off the triumph of solving her first case, Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) follows in the footsteps of her famous brother, Sherlock (Henry Cavill), and opens her own agency — only to find that life as a female detective-for-hire isn’t as easy as it seems. Resigned to accepting the cold realities of adulthood, she is about to close shop when a penniless matchstick girl offers Enola her first official job… To find her missing sister. But this case proves to be far more puzzling than expected, as Enola is thrown into a dangerous new world — from London’s sinister factories and colorful music halls, to the highest echelons of society and 221B Baker Street itself. As the sparks of a deadly conspiracy ignite, Enola must call upon the help of friends — and Sherlock himself — to unravel her mystery. The game, it seems, has found its feet again!

Along with new friends and foes, it stars Millie Bobby Brown, Henry Cavill, David Thewlis, Louis Partridge, Susan Wokoma, Adeel Akhtar, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, and Helena Bonham Carter.
RELEASE
Although the original movie drew mixed opinions from cinephiles and reviewers alike, the sequel looks very promising. harnessing the brilliance of Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill will be the key to its success. But with a cast as talented as this, and another juicy mystery to solve, who would bet against Enola Holmes 2 bettering its predecessor? I guess we’ll see come November 4th!
