NECA’s 31 Nights of Fright reveals climaxes with our first look at the black and white variant of Bela Lugosi’s iconic Dracula!
The creatures of the night are back on the hunt and Dracula is stalking the streets of Transylvania for his next victim. That’s because overnight, those naughty toy minions at NECA delivered the crescendo to their “31 Nights of Fright” initiative. The month-long season of reveals climaxed stunningly with our first look at the black-and-white variant of Bela Lugosi’s Dracula. And boy does it deliver!
The figure boasts an impressive facial sculpt that captures the likeness of Bela Lugosi in minute detail and gives the color variant a run for its money. Vintage Universal Monsters fans will be looking to this figure to deliver the definitive version of Lugosi’s beloved vampire. And from the looks of the teaser image, I’d say they’ve stuck the landing. But don’t take my word for it. Check out the reveal below.
This reveal comes fresh off the back of the packaging reveals for the color version of the figure and the superb new accessory set. The set boasts a coffin, an opossum, an armadillo, a spider, and a cricket in a coffin. And it looks like the ultimate set to give your collection the genuine seal of approval.
Sadly though, NECA didn’t go into detail about the new black-and-white variant of Dracula. Nor did they reveal an expected release date. But now, with the prototype being revealed and there for all to see, surely it’s only a matter of time before we hear more. And we’ll be right here to bring you the latest. So check back regularly.
