
Cameras will roll on Matt Reeves’ hotly anticipated spin-off from The Batman early in 2023. It’s time to enter the iceberg lounge for a rendezvous with The Penguin
Based on a post on the Film and Television Industry Alliance (FTIA) it appears filming for The Penguin TV show will begin shooting in February. The series is a spinoff of Matt Reeves’The Batman and will chronicle the rise of Oswald Cobblepot, aka The Penguin.

Colin Farrell will return to the role that he played so amazingly in the film. And the series will also have the benefit of Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone. Daughter of Gotham crime lord Carmine Falcone. Matt Reeves is reported to be an executive producer of the show. The showrunner will be Lauren LeFranc who previously served as producer of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Chuck, among other projects.
Shooting will take place in New York and the series will eventually air on HBO Max.
