The latest character poster from Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 reunites us with the legendary Clone Commander Cody
The all-new season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch is well underway on Disney+. And so far the series has hit the ground running and delivered a rollercoaster ride of Star Wars awesomeness. Ordinarily, new episodes alone would be enough to appease any content-starved Star Wars fan. But thankfully, Lucasfilm is upping the ante with another batch of glorious character posters for us to feast upon. So far, Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Echo, Crosshair, Omega, and Cid have been rewarded with their own individual posters. But today, an old friend makes his triumphant return to the adventures of the Galaxy far, far away…
Clone Commander Cody.
It’s been a minute since we caught up with Commander Cody. The last time we saw him, he ordered the execution of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi during the great purge. And in the aftermath of Order 66, Captain Rex revealed that he failed to remove Cody’s command chip before the Emperor ordered the annihilation of the Jedi Order. This revelation left fans believing that Cody had submitted to his programming and joined the Empire.
However, the most recent episode of The Bad Batch has revealed that the truth is far more complex. Even showing the legendary Clone Commander feeling remorse and regret for his role in the execution of the Jedi. And as the credits rolled, Rampart disclosed that Cody had been reported AWOL hinting that there are more layers to this story than we first thought. Check out her poster below.
