Warner Bros. has dropped a glorious new poster for Shazam! Fury of the Gods ahead of the new trailer tomorrow
Although we are still several weeks away from the arrival of Shazam! Fury of the Gods in cinemas, Warner Bros is firing up the hype train. The studio has dropped a glorious new poster for Zachary Levi’s superhero sequel that showcases the characters that will carry the next installment of the DC Universe forwards. What’s more, the poster arrives with a promise that an all-new trailer will arrive tomorrow.
The new poster features Levi’s chiseled superhero alongside the Shazam “Family,” Djimon Hounsou’s ancient wizard, and the infamous Daughters of Atlas; played by Rachel Zegler, Lucy Liu, and the unconquerable Helen Mirren. And even more ominous is the outline of Mount Olympus being menaced by a dragon. You heard right, a dragon! But don’t take my word for it. Check out the roster below.
SAY THE WORD!
The long-gestating sequel to DC’s Shazam! has had a rough journey to the screen. Initially planned to release Christmas 2022, Shazam! Fury of the Gods is finally hitting our screens in March and the expectations are high. Director David F. Sandberg returns to the directorial hot seat while Zachary Levi is back to star as Shazam. And Asher Angel once again will play Billy Batson. Thankfully, most of the original cast are returning to reprise their roles from the last outing, led by Djimon Hounsou who returns as Shazam – the last surviving member of the Council of Wizards
As of press time, little is known about the plot of the movie. Though if the latest trailer is anything to go by, it will revolve around the Shazam! family growing into their powers. However, the clan will be tested to its limits when The Daughters of Atlas – Hespera (Helen Mirren) and Kalypso (Lucy Liu) emerge from the shadows to exact the Fury of the Gods!

RELEASE
As mentioned above, the Shazam! sequel won’t hit theatres until March 2023. But we are 100% here for it. Let the excitement and anticipation commence. And be sure to check back tomorrow for the all-new trailer which will be right here with Future of the Force.
