
The finish line is almost in sight for Vin Diesel and the cast of the Fast & Furious Saga as the first trailer for Fast X speeds its way online.
Love them or hate them (I personally love them), the Fast & Furious movies are box office dynamite. From the very first film back in 2001, the franchise has thrilled audiences around the globe. With its mix of action, stunts, drama, and in the later movies, sheer outlandishness, the movie-going public has taken Vin Diesel and his ‘Family’ to their hearts. But all good things must come to an end.
The tenth and penultimate film in the main franchise opens this May. Fast X will begin the end of the road for Dominic Toretto and his crew. The new film has all the main characters back in place alongside some outstanding newcomers in the form of Brie Larson and Jason Momoa. The first trailer for the film has been released online. Gas up the Dodge Charger again as we speed in to take a look:
PREMISE
Dominic Toretto (Diesel) and his crew must seek help in their fight against Cipher (Theron) when she recruits Dante (Momoa), a mysterious new adversary. Cipher and Dante unite in their fight against Dominic Toretto and his crew, who are assisted by Tess.

THE CAST
The cast is once again led by Vin Diesel as Dominic “Dom” Toretto. Starring alongside the star once again is Jason Statham as Deckard Shaw, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges as Tej Parker, John Cena as Jakob Toretto, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey, Sung Kang as Han Lue, Scott Eastwood as Eric Reisner / Little Nobody, Helen Mirren as Magdalene “Queenie” Ellmanson-Shaw, Cardi B as Leysa, and Charlize Theron as Cipher.

Newcomers in this penultimate ride are Jason Momoa as Dante, a mysterious, eccentric adversary of Dom and his team who works with Cipher, Brie Larson as Tess, Michael Rooker as Buddy, a mechanic who was a member of Dom, Jakob, and Mia’s father’s pit crew, and Rita Moreno as Abuela Toretto, the grandmother of Dom, Jakob, and Mia. Daniela Melchior and Alan Ritchson have been cast in undisclosed roles, Leo Abelo Perry will appear as Brian Marcos, Dom, and Elena’s son while rumors still persist that Gal Gadot will make an appearance as Giselle, despite being killed off in Furious 6.

BEHIND THE CAMERAS
The film is directed by Louis Leterrier, who took over the directorial reigns from Justin Lin. The film is written by Justin Lin and Dan Mazeau, based on the characters created by Gary Scott Thompson. The film is produced by Neal H. Moritz, Vin Diesel, Jeff Kirschenbaum, Joe Roth, Justin Lin, Clayton Townsend, and Samantha Vincent. And the music has once again been composed by Brian Tyler.
Fast X will begin the end of the road when it accelerates into theaters on May 19th.
