Captain Rex Returns on The Latest Character Poster From The Bad Batch Season 2!

The latest character poster from Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 reunites us with Clone Captain Rex
The second season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch is already nearing its conclusion on Disney+. So far the series has been packed with riot racing, clone conspiracies, and idyllic desert island destinations. However, the story has ramped up the tension in recent weeks. Especially when thrusting Clone Captain Rex into the fight to save his clone brothers from an uncertain future.
Ordinarily, new episodes alone would be enough to appease our insatiable appetite. But thankfully, Lucasfilm is upping the ante with another batch of superb character posters for us to feast upon. So far, Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Echo, Crosshair, Omega, Cid, Commander Cody, TAY-O, Phee Genoa, Gungi, Riyo Chuchi, Emperor Palpatine, Benni Baro, Commando Scorch, and Commander Mayday have been rewarded with their own individual posters. But this week, Captain Rex makes his triumphant return.
Captain Rex has been a thorn in the side of the Empire since the fall of the Republic. With his inhibitor chip removed, Rex was free to think for himself and quickly helped Ahsoka Tano escape the fallout from Order 66. But with the Empire’s reach extending further and further by the day, Rex couldn’t stand by and watch Palaptine’s cruelty go unpunished.
And now, the battle-hardened veteran works as a clandestine soldier striving to cause chaos where he can. And of course, uses Clone Force 99’s unique skillset to his advantage when the need arises. So far in Season 2, Rex has been on hand to prevent his fellow clones from being discarded as human trash as the Imperial Stormtrooper creation bill was passed in the Senate. But with Clone Commander Cody now on the run and branded a traitor to the Empire, surely he will reunite with Rex in the struggle against Palpatine’s tyranny.
