Prime Video Releases The Official Trailer And Key Art For Dead Ringers
The psychosexual thriller premieres exclusively on Prime Video on the 21st of April. Get ready for an all-new Dead Ringers!
Back in 1988, director David Cronenberg brought his movie Dead Ringers to the world. The psychological thriller featured Jeremy Irons in the dual role of twins Elliot and Beverly Mantle. The film was based on the lives of Stewart and Cyril Marcus, and the novel Twins by Bari Wood and Jack Geasland, which was a heavily fictionalized account of the pair. The film was highly regarded by both audiences and critics and has been named one of the best Canadian films ever made.
Now though, it is time for Dead Ringers to make a comeback. This time though, the roles have had a gender reverse. Academy-Award-Winner Rachel Weisz now takes over the dual roles of Elliot and Beverly in a reimagining of the classic movie. The limited series has been created by Alice Birch and will premiere on Prime Video on April 21st. The trailer and key art for the series have been released today. Let’s see double as we take a look:
