Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves Character Posters

Based on the table-top role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves sets the box office alight in the UK and Ireland.

After secret screenings at Cineworld Cinemas a few weeks back, the fantasy movie Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves has opened in the top position at the UK box office. The film, starring Chris Pine and Michelle Rodriguez took £3.359 Million over the weekend. (Read our review here). With the special screenings that have also taken place over the past week, the film has got off to an incredible start, entertaining audiences across the country. The eOne Entertainment movie is the perfect tonic for the whole family over the Easter holidays and beyond.

THE DETAILS

eOne today announced that Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves is the number one at the UK Box Office in its opening weekend, scoring £3.359 Million on 1280 screens across 680 sites in the UK and Ireland.

The film also banked £185,000 in previews for a total opening of £3.544 Million. The previews were via Cineworld Unlimited Secret Screenings on 11th March, MediCinema Nationwide previews on 25th March, preview screenings in partnerships with Scouts UK and Odeon on 25th and 26th March as well as preview Captioned screenings in partnership with Picturehouse Cinemas and The Light on 29th March. All income received from the MediCinema screenings was donated to the Charity.

THE FILM

Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves features an all-star cast including Chris Pine (Star Trek, Don’t Worry Darling), Michelle Rodriguez (The Fast Franchise), Rege-Jean Page (Bridgerton), Justice Smith (Detective Pikachu), Sophia Lillis (It Chapters 1 and 2) and Hugh Grant (Paddington 2).

A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people. Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary role-playing game to the big screen in a hilarious and action-packed adventure.

The cast including Chris Pine, Regé-Jean Page, Hugh Grant, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, and Daisy Head was joined by Producer Jeremy Latcham, and Directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein in the UK last month for the film, attending the UK Premiere at Cineworld Leicester Square, followed by an After Party at St Martin-In-The-Fields Crypt, as well as a Photocall on The Edwardian Boat and event at the Tower Of London.

Justice Smith plays Simon, Chris Pine plays Edgin, Rege-Jean Page plays Xenk, Sophia Lillis plays Doric and Michelle Rodriguez plays Holga in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves from Paramount Pictures and eOne.
