Miles has a sacrifice to make in the all-new trailer for Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse
Sony Pictures has dropped a brand new trailer for the upcoming sequel Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse. And as expected, the film looks stunning. The movie has the unenviable task of following in the footsteps of its predecessor which holds the title of one of the best-animated movies of all time. But if you thought the creatives behind the project were daunted by the prospect, you’re dead wrong. As evidenced in the new trailer, the sequel is leaning even more into the Spider-Verse by showcasing more Spider-People than we can count. And they are all ready to swing into action to help Miles Morales defend the Spider-Verse.

However, just like in Peter Parker’s tragic past, the specter of loss looms over Miles Morales’ future. And as the morality tale unfolds, our latest Spider-Man will be forced to face this sacrifice head-on, whether he likes it or not. But don’t take my word for it. Swing down to the trailer below and hit play.
NEW SYNOPSIS
As if the trailer wasn’t enough to have you preparing your return to the Spider-Verse, the studio has also dropped a brand new synopsis. And it reveals more of what we can expect to see when the movie swings into cinemas on June 2, 2023.
After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
