She’s everything. He’s just Ken. It’s no longer a Barbie world as the new trailer for Warner Bros Pictures Barbie shows us life in plastic!
Hitting theaters on July 21st is Greta Gerwig’s Barbie. The movie, based on the fashion dolls by Mattel, sees Margot Robbie step into the dolls’ shoes on the big screen. Also starring Ryan Gosling as Ken, and featuring supporting performances from Will Ferrell, Simu Liu, America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Alexandra Shipp, Michael Cera, Issa Rae, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Rhea Perlman, and Kate McKinnon, the film looks to be a riot of color.
Today has seen the release of the new trailer and new poster for the film. Also, the character posters for the cast have also appeared online. And it gives us a look at what we can expect to see when the film opens. Although Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling are top-billed as Barbie and Ken, several other members of the cast will also be playing the role in the various versions of the two dolls.

After being expelled from “Barbieland” for being a less-than-perfect doll, Barbie sets off for the human world to find true happiness.
