Roll Out! The Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Global Statue Tour Heads to the UK
Calling all Autobots! Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal will both be heading to London to celebrate the release of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts
Autobots assemble because Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal are coming to the UK. Although the release of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is still over two months away, Paramount Pictures is pouring fuel into the hype train by announcing a global statue tour. And if you were hoping to meet the leader of the Autobots in the flesh, you’re in for a real treat.
The global statue tour will be bringing both Optimus Prime and Optimus Primal to London to help build the hype for the latest installment in the blockbuster franchise. But if you’re hoping to stand side by side with the heroes of Cybertron, you’re going to have to move quickly. The statues will only be hanging around for a limited time before they head off to take the fight to the Predacons somewhere else around the globe. In fact, you’ll have just ten days to make your pilgrimage to the capital to meet them. But what better way to help build the excitement than meeting the leader of the Autobots himself?

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new breed of Transformer – the Maximals – to the existing battle on earth between Autobots and Decepticons
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts looks set to be one of the biggest events of the summer. And we are one hundred percent here for it. The live-action debut of the Maximals, Predacons, and the Terrorcons has been a very long time coming. After all, the latter all featured in the original Gen 1 animated series and were an intricate part of Galvatron’s Decepticon army. So seeing the characters realized in live-action is an enticing prospect. And with Bumblebee and Optimus Prime thrown into the mix, we could be set for one of the most ambitious Transformers movies to date.
But can Steven Caple Jr. do the unthinkable and break free of the stigma attached to the property following Michael Bay’s divisive adventures? That remains to be seen. Bay’s movies, though entertaining were nothing short of a character assassination of the original Gen 1 series. With many of the most adored characters tweaked, altered, and treated with little respect. Thankfully, Bumblebee turned the tide and delivered the closest thing to the original series to date. And the result was a breath of fresh air. So let’s hope Joby Harold’s bold story for this sequel delivers in a big way!
All will be revealed when those robots in disguise transform and roll out in cinemas from June 9th, 2023.
