Star Wars x Rocket League: Lucasfilm Enters The Fast Lane on May 4th

Lucasfilm Games and Psyonix are teaming up for a new Star Wars x Rocket League collaboration to celebrate May 4th (Star Wars Day)

Look out gamers because Star Wars is taking over Rocket League. Lucasfilm Games and Psyonix have announced an awesome new collaboration to celebrate May 4th (Star Wars Day). Players can look forward to new items featuring some of their favorite droids — R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8, and K-2SO — available in the Rocket League Item Shop. To celebrate the collaboration, players can also claim a free Star Wars R2-D2 (Twin Suns) Player Banner and “Rust Bucket” Player Title. The Star Wars content will be available in the game until May 16.

But don’t take our word for it. Scroll down and watch the fun new announcement trailer below.

Rocket League, which can be played for free, is a critically-acclaimed, sports-action video game where players control cars — with rocket boost abilities, allowing them to soar — in a high-speed and high-flying game of soccer. We will most definitely enjoy the combined strength of Star Wars and Rocket League this May 4th.
