Samuel L. Jackson returns to Earth as Nick Fury in the new teaser for Disney+ and Marvel’s Secret Invasion.
In a month’s time, Samuel L. Jackson returns to his iconic role as Nick Fury in the Disney+ series, Secret Invasion. The six-part show debuts on the streaming service on June 21st. Also starring Don Cheadle, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and Martin Freeman, it is based on the Marvel Comics storyline of the same name. A new teaser for the show has today been revealed.
THE PREMISE
Nick Fury uncovers a conspiracy for a group of shapeshifting Skrulls to infiltrate Earth in positions of power around the world, recruiting Everett K. Ross, Maria Hill, and Talos to stop it and save humanity.

THOUGHTS
The show looks to be an all-action, exciting continuation of Fury’s and Talos’ adventures together. The relationship between Jackson and Mendelsohn looks to be highly entertaining and amusing. They brilliantly played off each other at times during Captain Marvel, and I for one am looking forward to the continuing story between them. With the addition of Emilia Clarke as Talos’ daughter G’iah to the mix, the series could become one of the best that Marvel and Disney+ have produced so far.
The Secret Invasion will begin on Disney+ when it premieres on June 21st.
