The third season of the award-winning drama, The Morning Show will premiere on Wednesday, September 13th, exclusively on Apple TV+

“The Morning Show” fans, get excited! Apple TV+ just gave us a sneak peek of the highly anticipated third season, starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston. The first two episodes will premiere globally on September 13, 2023. The show has been renewed for season four and will consist of 10 episodes, with Mimi Leder as the director and executive producer and Charlotte Stoudt as the showrunner and executive producer.

SEASON THREE

This season, the network’s future is up in the air, and alliances face tests as a technology giant expresses interest in UBA. Private truths morph into weapons, and unlikely bonds develop. Everyone must scrutinize their core values, both in and out of the newsroom. Along with Aniston and Witherspoon, the star-studded season three ensemble cast is led by Billy Crudup. Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Greta Lee, Jon Hamm, Nicole Beharie, and Julianna Margulies.

Media Res studio produces “The Morning Show”, with executive producer Michael Ellenberg. Aniston and Kristin Hahn of Echo Films, along with Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter of Hello Sunshine, are also working on the production. Leder is both an executive producer and director.

THE MORNING SHOW

Now streaming globally on Apple TV+, the broadly acclaimed second season of “The Morning Show” received Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, Reese Witherspoon. Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, Billy Crudup, who also won the award for season one. And, Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series, Marcia Gay Harden.

In its first season, Crudup’s performance as Cory Ellison earned an Emmy win in the Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category. In addition to a Critics Choice Award. Aniston’s powerful performance as Alex Levy earned a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series. Leder earned an Outstanding Directing For a Drama Series nomination for helming the season one finale. The series also received nominations from the Television Critics Association for Outstanding New Program. And a TV Choice Award for Best New Drama.
