Free! announces a Top of Summer Campaign with Matsukiyo CoCokara!
Last week, Free! announced a new collaboration with Mizuno for The Final Stroke. And today, they announced another collaboration. This time, it is with the company Matsukiuo Cocokara for a Top of Summer campaign. The new illustration features Haruka, Makoto, Rin, Ikuya and Sousuke in casual Summer clothes at the Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo. You can spot several references to the saga on the ads in the background.
The campaign starts on July 16 and ends on September 15. There will be several goods available featuring the characters from this illustration. Matsumoto Kiyoshi online store will sell some of these goods in limited quantities.
- A6 clear files (6 types) from August 1st to September 15.
- a wet tissue case and magnets (5 types) from August 21 to September 15.
The tissue case and the magnets will also be available in store starting July 25. This will be limited to some Cocokara stores.
On top of that, the campaign will be divided in different parts with each having their own sets of original goods. The first part is “buy and apply.” You have to buy target goods in-store with a total of at least 1,000 Yen which will allow you to apply to a lottery to win a cushion. There are 12 types of cushions. From July 16 to August 15, people can apply for the one of the first 6 cushions.
Then from August 16 to September 15, people can apply for one of the other 6 cushions.
Then, the second part of the campaign is “answer the quizz and apply.” This takes place from the beginning to the end of the campaign. You have to answer a quizz on the official Matsumoto Kiyoshi app or the Cocokara official app (members only) and you will be able to apply to a lottery. There will be 10 winners, you can either win a pouch or a small fan.
The third part of the campaign is “apply on Twitter.” It starts August 1st and ends September 4th. You have to follow the official Twitter account, retweet the campaign tweet and fill a form. You will get the chance to win a B2 poster signed by Nobunaga Shimazaki, the voice of Haruka Nanase.
Finally, on a first-come, first-served basis, starting July 16, fans can buy target goods in store and they will receive an exlcusive A6 clear file different from the other clear files shown above.
