Now in its eighth series, RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE: ALL-STARS began with a bang as RuPaul announced that there would be two ways to win this season. A twist that no one expected coming, each week the eliminated queens would be allowed to showcase their ‘lewks’ for the mainstage within a special segment on RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE: ALL-STARS UNTUCKED. From 14th July 2023, fans were offered the opportunity to vote for the queen who turned their favourite looks, winning the title of ‘Queen of the Fame Game’ and $50,000. In the grand finale, LaLa Ri – who was fifth placed in the season – was awarded this special honour.

Jimbo, newly crowned winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Star S8 said, “I did it, I’m the winner! The third time truly is a charm, and you know what they say, never give up! I am the first international queen in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. This win proved that with enough drive, determination and love and support you can do anything. And I am ready to take over the mother-tucking world! This is the dream of a lifetime that I could never have predicted and I am so grateful. Thank you to my fans, and to all of my sisters and of course, mama Ru. Thank you, thank you!”

Having proved throughout this series why she deserves the crown, Jimbo won a total of four challenges across the season, which included Snatch Game, the commercial challenge, the roast of Carson Kressley and an acting challenge. Canada’s drag clown, Jimbo! This bodacious queen is stacked–with talent! And after gagworthy seasons on Canada’s Drag Race and the UK vs. the World, she’s ready to bring home the bologna.

LaLa Ri, crowned winner of ‘Queen of the Fame Game’ in RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Star S8 said, “I just won the Queen of the Fame game! I need to do a few more push-ups cause this sceptre is kind of heavy, but it feels amazing to have it in my hand – oh my god I won! Thank you to all my fans, I love y’all so much. And never stop believing in yourself, ’cause you can!”
