The Exorcist: Believer Header

The Exorcist: Believer, the sixth film in the franchise, asks if we believe as the first trailer possesses itself online.

The Exorcist: Believer is coming. The movie, the sixth instalment in the franchise that started back in 1973, will hit screens on Friday, the 13th of October (perfect date, huh?). The film features the return of Ellen Burstyn as Chris MacNeil, the character she played back in the original film fifty years ago. The cast also includes Leslie Odom Jr, Ann Dowd, Lidya Jewett, Olivia Marcum, Raphael Sbarge, Jennifer Nettles, and Okwui Okpokwasili.

There looks as if sadly, we won’t get an appearance from Linda Blair as Regan. But it looks as if she will still get a mention in the proceedings via photographs. The first trailer for the film has manifested itself online. It has also been announced that the sequel to the film, titled The Exorcist: Deceiver, will be released on April 18th, 2025.
