We are just weeks away from the culmination of The Equalizer franchise, and Sony Pictures is pouring fuel into the hype train. Following the eye-watering new trailer, the studio has shared a new featurette that recaps the adventure so far. Which is a shoo-in to get us in the mood for more violent hijinks when the threequel hits our screens on August 30th.
The new featurette boasts star Denzel Washington and director Antoine Fuqua who are more than ready to wax lyrical about the adventures of the elusive Robert McCall. And the body count he leaves in his wake! But don’t take my word for it. Saddle up and shoot down to the player below.
SYNOPSIS
Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Washington) has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he’s done in the past and finds a strange solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends’ protector by taking on the mafia.
