
The fifth episode of STAR WARS: AHSOKA will be hitting a handful of cinemas before streaming on Disney Plus
Can you believe it? after all the hype, we have now reached the mid-season point of STAR WARS: AHSOKA. Dave Filoni’s magnum opus has been an amazing thrill ride so far with its multilayered storytelling, Lucas-esque screen wipes, and effortless fun. And that feeling was pinnacled this week by the jaw-dropping appearance of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker.
Lucasfilm, however, is eager to push our enthusiasm into nerd overload by announcing that the fifth episode from the series will be receiving a theatrical run. You heard right, Part 5 will be playing in 10 theaters in the US next Tuesday, an hour before it drops on Disney Plus. What’s more, Empire Magazine will also be hosting a similar screening in London. So even the UK will be feeling the force on this one.

With Dave Filoni returning to the director’s chair for this episode, the expectation levels have now gone through the roof. After all, this episode will showcase the first-ever live-action meeting of Ahsoka and Anakin Skywalker and may potentially herald the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn. Moreover, the episode may even incorporate the return of Ezra Bridger, so all things considered, Part 5 is set up to be the mother of all Star Wars events. And there is no better place to see it than on the big screen!
