Crunchyroll, the World’s Largest Anime Streaming Subscription Service, Launches Today on Prime Video Channels
Crunchyroll, the world’s largest Anime streaming service has found a new home with Prime Video. From today, Prime members in the U.S. can select from two Crunchyroll memberships, allowing them to stream the Crunchyroll library ad-free and enjoy titles shortly after release in Japan. Prime customers in Canada, Sweden, and the UK will also enjoy the service launch this week with additional territories to follow.

A NEW HOME
Crunchyroll, the ultimate home for anime worldwide, and Prime Video today announced that they have entered into a global agreement to distribute the Crunchyroll subscription service on Prime Video. Crunchyroll is now available via Prime Video Channels in the U.S. with Canada, Sweden and the UK launching this week and additional territories to follow throughout 2024. Prime Video is a one-stop entertainment destination, offering customers a large collection of premium entertainment in a single application. On Prime Video, customers can find their favourite movies and series under one roof, be it entertainment produced by Amazon MGM Studios or by other studios, third-party channels made accessible as an add-on subscription through Prime Video Channels, and titles to rent or buy via the Prime Video Store.
THE HOME OF ANIME
Prime members can now select from two Crunchyroll memberships: Fan or Mega Fan, both of which allow customers to stream the entire Crunchyroll library ad-free, while enjoying new episodes shortly after release in Japan. (Fan Tier Price: 4.99 GBP; Mega Fan Tier 5.99 GBP). At launch, Mega Fan subscribers can also download titles for offline viewing, with additional non-video benefits to be added shortly. Crunchyroll subscribers can enjoy the world’s largest streaming library of anime, with 24,000 hours, 46,000 episodes, and more than 1,300 series and films.

New Crunchyroll subscribers can enjoy the massive fall anime season with more than 50 new titles, including the emotionally complex fantasy adventure series Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, the long-running swashbuckling epic One Piece, and the action-packed hit JUJUTSU KAISEN. Prime Video Channels offers top global and local premium add-on subscription services for Prime members. With Prime Video Channels’ premium add-on subscription selection, Prime members can conveniently find all the content they love and manage their go-to streaming subscriptions with a single Amazon sign-on.
