THE UK TOP TEN
As we head fast towards Halloween, three titles get scared out of the placings. They are replaced by two new entries and one re-entry. They have managed to make Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, Fast X, and Elemental run for their lives. But what are these titles that have scared the chart? And where have they entered the placings? Light the fuse again as we find out.

THE TOP SPOT IS MISSION: POSSIBLE!
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One scores a second week atop the Official Film Chart. The seventh instalment in the Mission: Impossible series starring Tom Cruise finishes the week 15,000 sales ahead of its closest competition and on digital downloads only. (Read our review here.)

THE MEG SURFACES AGAIN!
At Number 2, flying 13 places following its release on physical formats is the disaster film Meg 2: The Trench. This marks a brand-new high position for the flick – it previously peaked at Number 3 – which is the biggest physical release of the week. (Read our review here.)

BARBIE HOLDS FAST!
Margot Robbie’s Barbie finds life in plastic is fantastic at Number 3. (Read our review here.)

INDIANA JONES CLINGING ON IN FOURTH!

THE CHART GETS SOME PRACTICAL MAGIC!
As Halloween fast approaches, the spellbinding 1998 comedy Practical Magic – starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman – floats into the Top 10 for the first time, up 14 places to Number 7 this week.

MARIO LOSES ANOTHER LIFE!
The Super Mario Bros. Movie loses another life as it drops two places to Number 8.

THE GUARDIANS ARE NEARLY GONE!
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol.3 loses four places as it drops to Number 9. (Read our review here.)

THE NUN RETURNS TO SCARE US AGAIN!
Rounding out the Top 10 is the terrifying sequel, The Nun II at Number 10. Set in 1956 France, Taissa Farmiga reprises her starring role as Sister Irene, who once again comes up against demon nun Valak.

FINISHING OFF!
And that is this week’s top ten best-selling titles. Next week will prove interesting as Barbie is now available to buy for £13.99 on digital after coming off of PVOD this week. Will she manage to overthrow Tom Cruise at the top of the chart? We will find out next Wednesday, so until then…
