Arcane Season 2 Finally Has A Release Date

The next installment of the League of Legends story comes to Netflix in November 2024. Arcane is back!

With the big studios now emerging from their slumber after the SAG-AFTRA strikes, the release slate for 2024 is finally taking shape. Netflix has already blown us away by dropping a new trailer for the upcoming AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER live-action adaptation. But now, they’ve gone one better by confirming that the long-awaited second season of ARCANE will be arriving in November 2024.

This is undoubtedly bittersweet news. Yes, we can all look forward to exploring new episodes with our beloved sisters. But the fact that we will have to wait a year to be reunited with Arcane’s League of Legends will be a test of endurance. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Check out the reveal below.

The first season was a glorious adaptation of the multiplayer online battle arena game. When last we saw Arcane’s League of Legends champions Vi and Jinx, the two sisters were veering down completely different paths in the looming conflict between Piltover and Zaun. So where the second season will take us is anyone’s guess. But hopefully, the new season will build upon those foundations and deliver the follow-up we are all hoping for.


Arcane tells the origin story of two iconic League of Legends champions, who just so happen to be sisters. Jinx (Ella Purnell) — also known as Powder — and Vi (Hailee Steinfeld) find themselves on rival sides of a brewing war between the utopian city Piltover and its oppressed underbelly Zaun. Powder and Vi are completely transformed by the end of the first season, as Powder becomes the mischievous Jinx, and Vi proves she’s one champion you don’t want to mess with.
