The first trailer for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga has emerged from the Wasteland and found its way online! Blasting its way into cinemas in May 2024!
Are you ready to learn the origins of Furiosa? The character, first played by Charlize Theron in Mad Max: Fury Road is returning to cinemas in 2024. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is a prequel/spin-off from that film. This time, the character is played by Anya Taylor-Joy in director George Miller’s long-gestating origin story. Chris Hemsworth is also appearing in the film as Warlord Dementus, alongside Tom Burke, Alyla Browne, Nathan Jones, Angus Sampson, Quaden Bayles, Daniel Webber, and Lachy Hulme. Meanwhile, A younger version of Immortan Joe, previously portrayed by the late Hugh Keays-Byrne is set to appear in the film. The first trailer for the film has emerged from the Wasteland.
PREMISE
As the world falls, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers. And into the hands of a Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. While two Tyrants war for dominance over the Citadel, Furiosa survives many trials as she plots a way back home through the Wasteland.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga will take on the summer box office wastelands when it opens on May 23rd in Australia. And on May 24th in the United States.
