Rise Together Or Fall Alone. Godzilla and Kong join forces to take on a new threat in the first trailer for Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire.
The two kings of the Titans are back! Godzilla and Kong are returning to cinemas next year in Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire. Once again directed by Adam Wingard after his great job behind the camera on Godzilla Vs. Kong back in 2021, the film sees the pair having to fight alongside each other to take on a new threat. The film is written by Terry Rossio, Simon Barrett, and Jeremy Slater from a story by Rossio, Wingard, and Barrett. After dropping the character posters earlier this week, the first official poster for the next chapter in the Monsterverse has arrived. Not only that, the first trailer for the film has also been released. It’s time to check in with Godzilla and Kong once again.
THE PREMISE
This latest entry follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure. Pitting the almighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence. And our own. The epic new film will delve further into the histories of these Titans, and their origins. And the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.

THE CAST
Returning from the previous film is Rebecca Hall as Dr. Ilene Andrews. Brian Tyree Henry as Bernie Hayes, and Kaylee Hottle as Jia. Newcomers to the franchise include Dan Stevens, Fala Chen, Alex Ferns, and Rachel House. The film marks the seventh installment and fifth film in the MonsterVerse. It is also the 38th film of the Godzilla franchise and the 13th film in the King Kong franchise.
