Prime Video dropped some huge surprises at this past weekend’s CCXP. Get the lowdown on Fallout, The Boys, and Reacher here.

Fans attending CCXP, the largest comic convention in the world, were surprised on Saturday. They were treated with a series of exciting announcements from Prime Video for Fallout, The Boys S4 and Reacher S3. The teaser trailers for Fallout and The Boys season 4 were dropped. And it was announced that Reacher has been renewed for a third season before the second has even premiered.

FALLOUT

On Saturday, Prime Video debuted the official teaser trailer for Fallout during the series’ panel at CCXP. Brazil’s massive fan and comic book convention in São Paulo. The teaser delighted fans with a first video glimpse into the Fallout universe. It revealed more of the series’ signature characters, including The Ghoul, as well as its vaults. Mysterious Wasteland, and the Brotherhood of Steel. Fallout will premiere on Prime Video exclusively on 12th April 2024, in more than 240 countries and territories around the world.

During the series’ panel conversation on CCXP’s iconic Thunder Stage, executive producer and director Jonathan Nolan, executive producer and co-showrunner Graham Wagner. And Series stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins lifted the veil on the epic drama series, giving a sneak peek into its action. Tongue-in-cheek gore, and twisted, post-apocalyptic setting, before premiering the teaser in-room to more than 3,500 enthusiastic audience members.

SHOW-FLOOR ACTIVATION

In addition to the show panel, thousands of convention attendees were transported into the world of Fallout through Prime Video’s immersive show-floor activation. Which put fans right into the action. And treated them to never-before-seen glimpses into the universe and exclusive photo-ops.

BASED ON THE VIDEOGAME

Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots. In a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind. And are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.

The series comes from Kilter Films and executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Nolan directed the first three episodes. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner serve as executive producers, writers and co-showrunners. The series stars Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets), Walton Goggins (The Hateful Eight), and Aaron Moten (Emancipation). Athena Wickham of Kilter Films also executive produces. Along with Todd Howard for Bethesda Game Studios and James Altman for Bethesda Softworks. Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films produce in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks.

The series cast includes Moisés Arias (The King of Staten Island), and Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks). Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Michael Emerson (Person of Interest). Leslie Uggams (Deadpool), Frances Turner (The Boys). Dave Register (Heightened), Zach Cherry (Severance). Johnny Pemberton (Ant-Man), Rodrigo Luzzi (Dead Ringers). Annabel O’Hagan (Law & Order: SVU), and Xelia Mendes-Jones (The Wheel of Time). It will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

THE BOYS SEASON 4

Fans attending CCXP, the largest comic convention in the world, were surprised on Saturday with a first look at the highly anticipated fourth season of the Emmy-nominated hit drama series The Boys, coming to Prime Video in 2024.

SEASON 4

In Season Four, the world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power. Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team is fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.

THE CAST

The Boys stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Cameron Crovetti. Season Four will welcome Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

BEHIND THE CAMERAS

The Boys is based on The New York Times best-selling comic by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, who also serve as executive producers, and developed by executive producer and showrunner Eric Kripke. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Phil Sgriccia, Michaela Starr, Paul Grellong, David Reed, Meredith Glynn, Judalina Neira, Ken F. Levin, and Jason Netter also serve as executive producers. The Boys is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, with Kripke Enterprises, Original Film, and Point Grey Pictures.

The Boys Season 4 is coming to Prime Video in 2024

REACHER SEASON 3

On Saturday, Prime Video announced that the hit series Reacher has received an early renewal for a third season, ahead of its Season Two debut on 15th December. The announcement was made at the Prime Video Panel at CCXP in São Paulo, Brazil, during which Reacher star Alan Ritchson appeared in a video from the set of Season Three. He also debuted a new extended clip from the upcoming second season, giving fans an exclusive sneak peek at the action-packed premiere episode.

Reacher commands a passionate global audience, quickly becoming one of the top five most-watched original seasons ever on Prime Video in the U.S. and globally during its inaugural run. Seasons Two and Three of Reacher will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

BASED ON THE NOVELS

Based on the novels by Lee Child, who is an executive producer on the series, Reacher, starring Alan Ritchson (Fast X, Titans), is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television Studios. Reacher is written for television by Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora (FUBAR, Prison Break), who also executive produces and serves as showrunner.

In addition to Santora and Child, Ritchson will serve as an executive producer of Season Three, along with Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance. Carolyn Harris and Kenny Madrid are the executives in charge of the series for Skydance Television.

SEASON 2

The upcoming second season, premiering 15th December on Prime Video begins when veteran military police investigator Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) receives a coded message that the members of his former U.S. Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations, are being mysteriously and brutally murdered one by one. Pulled from his drifter lifestyle, Reacher reunites with three of his former teammates turned chosen family to investigate, including Frances Neagley (Maria Sten); Karla Dixon (Serinda Swan), a forensic accountant for whom Reacher has long had a soft spot; and fast-talking, switchblade-wielding family man David O’Donnell (Shaun Sipos).

Together, they begin to connect the dots in a mystery where the stakes get higher at every turn, and that brings about questions of who has betrayed them—and who will die next. Using his inimitable blend of smarts and size, Reacher will stop at nothing to uncover the truth and protect the members of his unit. If there’s one thing Reacher and his team know for certain, it’s that you do not mess with the Special Investigators. This season, get ready for Reacher and the 110th to hit back hard.

Reacher Season 2 premieres on Prime Video on 15th December. Season 3 is currently in production.
