Feast your eyes on the wickedly good sack of New Year treats coming to the Premium Horror Streamer SHUDDER this January
With the festive season fading into the distance for another year, SHUDDER is busy planning its New Year schedule. And with 2024 in its infancy, the premium horror streamer is loading its planner with treats for the horror fans among us. And believe me, these treats are far more tantalizing than any Christmas candy cane! If you were hoping for a really good post-festive scare, you’re in for a real treat!
NEW RELEASES
Aside from premiering the intense new original movie Destroy All Neighbors, the streamer is building towards the finale of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula on January 16th. And if that isn’t enough to have your blood curdling, Heather Graham’s Suitable Flesh delivers some extreme personality disorder hijinks to end the month on a high. And all that before we get into the new additions to Shudder’s customary film library.
But don’t take my word for it. Grab the arm of your chair; move to the edge of your seat, and grab the cushions because Shudder’s New Year horror watchlist is the gift that keeps on giving…jump scares!
Destroy All Neighbors – Shudder Original Film
William Brown, a neurotic, self-absorbed musician determined to finish his prog-rock magnum opus, faces a creative roadblock in the form of a noisy and grotesque neighbour named Vlad. Finally working up the nerve to demand that Vlad keep it down, William inadvertently decapitates him. But, while attempting to cover up one murder, William’s accidental reign of terror causes victims to pile up and become undead corpses who torment and create more bloody detours on his road to prog-rock Valhalla. Destroy All Neighbors is a twisted splatter-comedy about a deranged journey of self-discovery full of goopy practical FX, a well-known ensemble cast, and LOTS of blood. Starring Jonah Ray Rodrigues (Mystery Science Theater 3000) and Alex Winter (Bill and Ted franchise). Premieres Friday 12th January.
Suitable Flesh – Shudder Exclusive Film
Psychiatrist Elizabeth Derby becomes obsessed with helping a young patient who’s suffering from extreme personality disorder. However, it soon leads her into occult danger as she tries to escape from a horrific fate. Starring Heather Graham (Boogie Nights) and Barbara Crampton (Superhost). Premieres Friday 26th January.
The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula – Shudder Original Series
Horror’s new icons The Boulet Brothers are on the hunt to find the world’s next drag monster superstar in this brand new, star-studded fifth season of their hit reality competition show. With new competitors, their challenges, special effects makeup, costumes, and performances, it promises to be truly terrifying and out-of-this-world. Season Finale on January 16th.
