You’re invited to the revenge party of the year with the final trailer for the upcoming musical comedy Mean Girls.

Hitting screens in the United States on January 12th. And the UK on January 17th is the musical remake of Mean Girls. The film is based on the stage musical which itself was based on the 2004 movie. Tina Fey is once again on hand to provide the screenplay as well as reprising her role as Ms. Norbury. Tim Meadows also reprises his role as Principal Duvall. SYNOPSIS

New student Cady Heron, played by Angourie Rice, enters the high school social scene. “The popular clique known as ‘The Plastics’ wastes no time in welcoming her warmly.” Led by Regina George, played by Reneé Rapp, the group includes Gretchen, played by Bebe Wood. And Karen, played by Avantika.

However, things take a turn when Cady falls for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels, played by Christopher Briney. And becomes the target of Regina’s wrath. With the help of her outcast friends Janis, played by Auli’i Cravalho, and Damian, played by Jaquel Spivey, Cady sets out to take down Regina, the group’s leader. Along the way, she learns to stay true to herself while navigating the challenges of high school.
