David Tennant will host the 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards ceremony for the first time at the Royal Festival Hall. Britain’s biggest film night is to air on Sunday 18 February 2024 on BBC One and iPlayer.
BAFTA today announces David Tennant as the host for this year’s EE BAFTA Film Awards ceremony. The Royal Festival Hall in London will host the awards ceremony. Which will be broadcast live on BBC One and iPlayer. It’s going to be an exciting and unforgettable night of entertainment that you wouldn’t want to miss! Celebrating the year’s best films and the creative talent that brings them to life.
David Tennant’s extensive career in film, television and radio includes Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Good Omens, Broadchurch, and Doctor Who, a role for which he is admired the world over. His critically acclaimed performances in theatre include Much Ado About Nothing. Richard II, Hamlet, and currently Macbeth. The multi-talented and award-winning actor will this year bring his inimitable talent to the Royal Festival Hall stage to host Britain’s biggest night in film.

THE NOMINATIONS
Former EE Rising Star Award nominees Naomi Ackie and Kingsley Ben-Adir will announce the nominations for the EE BAFTA Film Awards 2024 on Thursday, January 18th, at 12 midday (GMT). The arts charity will make the announcement via a livestream from its headquarters situated at 195 Piccadilly, London.
On January 10th, the Savoy Hotel will host an event to announce the nominees for the highly anticipated EE Rising Star Award. This award is unique in that it is the only one at the EE BAFTA Film Awards that allows the British public to choose the winner. Voting is open from 10 January until midday 16 February 2024 at ee.co.uk/BAFTA.
