Rocket League is about to unleash MANDALORIAN MAYHEM. Just moments after the ink dried on the deal between Disney and Epic Games, Lucasfilm and Psyonix announced a collaboration to make the Bounty Hunters Guild shiver. The duo have joined forces to unleash an all-new special event featuring the heroes of the MandoVerse. All the big hitters are coming out to play including Din Djarin, Bo-Katan Kryze, The Armorer, and Paz Viszla. And just when you thought the deck couldn’t get any more stacked – Boba Fett is joining the party!
Every character will boast an all-new racing skin with a host of cool accessories. What’s more, the event boasts a series of unlockables to make your vehicles all the more Mando-esque. From Grogu to jetpacks and even Dark Saber contrails – there is a wealth of nifty accessories to unlock, But don’t take my word for it. Release the seismic charges and watch the teaser below.
A GALAXY OF RACING!
Lucasfilm and Psyonix announced today that characters and iconography from The Mandalorian are blasting onto Rocket League in a special Limited Time Event called Mandalorian Mayhem. Running February 7-21, Mandalorian Mayhem will feature a bounty of cosmetic surprises and a new mode for fans of the hit Disney+ series.
Players can look forward to Challenges to unlock The Mandalorian-inspired Toppers (including Mando’s helmet, jetpack, and Grogu), Player Banners, and other items. Decals such as Din Djarin and Boba Fett, plus Mythosaur Wheels, a Whistling Birds Goal Explosion, and more will be available in the Item Shop. Finally, the new 3v3 Limited Time Mode, G-Force Frenzy, will see cars zooming through the air as they compete. Mandalorian Mayhem will be the second Star Wars-themed event in Rocket League, following last May’s droid-centric release. Rocket League, which can be played for free on multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, is a critically-acclaimed, sports-action video game where players control cars — with rocket boost abilities, allowing them to soar — in a high-speed and high-flying game of soccer, or Soccar.

Thankfully, gamers won’t be waiting long before they jump into the action. The special Star Wars event is already well underway and runs until February 21st. So, dust off your racing skills and jump straight in. But which character will you be playing as? Boba Fett? Mando? No matter who you choose, Star Wars fans are eating well here.
