Electric Blue: Gecko Dash! climbs onto IOS and Android today. Get all the details here on the not-for-profit game from OtE Productions.
OtE Productions has announced that its new mobile game, Electric Blue: Gecko Dash!, is now available worldwide.
Making a hero of the critically endangered Williams’ Dwarf Gecko, the game is the latest title from the impact-focused subsidiary of not-for-profit conservation organisation On the Edge, putting players in the toes of a gecko that has been captured by poachers.

THE GAME
Tasked with helping the gecko escape from the poacher’s clutches, and find its way back to its native screwpine tree, players must avoid potential hazards such as logging, forest fires, invasive plants and more.
From eating bugs for an energy burst to blast through hazards, to perfectly timed dashes to escape the hands of poachers, the game combines engaging casual gameplay mechanics with lush environments to raise awareness of the plight of the visually striking electric blue gecko.

OTE PRODUCTIONS
OtE Productions’ full catalogue of mobile games, including Save the Purple Frog and Kākāpo Run, raises awareness of some of the biggest challenges that critically endangered species face today, including invasive species, habitat loss due to human activities and the illegal pet trade.
BETH BLOOD
Beth Blood, Founder and CEO of On the Edge said:
“With the launch of our third mobile game designed to raise awareness of lesser-known endangered species, we want to help more people fall in love with the natural world and understand the challenges these animals are facing.
“We hope that with the launch of the game we’re able to spark curiosity across all generations and help everyone care about their plight.”
