Captain Burnham and her crew embark on their final mission to save the galaxy in the new trailer for Star Trek Discovery Season 5.

Black Alert! Paramount Plus just dropped a new trailer for the final season of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY. Just last week, the streamer confirmed that the final voyage of Captain Burnham and her crew will emerge from the mycelial network on Thursday, April 4. But now, the adventure is ready to get underway, and the crew of the Discovery has received their departure orders.

But will our heroes rise to the challenge and save the galaxy one last time? Let’s fly down to the trailer and hit play!

SYNOPSIS

The fifth and final season will find Captain Burnham and the crew of the U.S.S. Discovery uncovering a mystery that will send them on an epic adventure across the galaxy to find an ancient power whose very existence has been deliberately hidden for centuries. But there are others on the hunt as well…dangerous foes who are desperate to claim the prize for themselves and will stop at nothing to get it.

RELEASE

The ten-episode final adventures of the U.S.S Discovery will run through May 30, with a two-episode debut – with the series landing within days of FIRST CONTACT DAY. The rest of the season will roll out across successive weeks before the show returns to drydock for the final time.

But will our crew make it out safe? Or will this final voyage take its toll on Burnham, Saru, and the gang? All will be revealed soon when the final adventures of the starship Discovery get underway on Paramount Plus on April 4th.
