Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games have dropped the launch trailer for the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection – emerging on consoles next week.
We are just one week away from the release of the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection, and we are ready to deploy. The classic games will be emerging from lightspeed and onto consoles next week, and Lucasfilm is in a celebratory mood. Today, the developer has dropped a suitably pulse-pounding launch trailer for the game. And if you’re in the mood for a nostalgic ride of Star Wars awesomeness, you’ve come to the right place.
THE GAME
Aspyr and Lucasfilm Games recently revealed the Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection, which will see the beloved Star Wars Battlefront (2004) and Star Wars Battlefront II (2005) introduced to a new generation. Coming March 14 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam for $35.01, Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection features restored online play for up to 64 players, expansions to Hero Assault mode, and all previously released bonus content for both titles. Steam users will also enjoy Steam Deck support.
The Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection includes a galaxy of content inspired by the original and prequel trilogies, from famous battles across Episodes I-VI to playable heroes and villains like Asajj Ventress, Darth Vader, and more, to unique modes and challenges.

NOSTALGIA
It is a joy to see these classic titles being refreshed for a whole new generation to enjoy. The original Battlefront was a blast and whisked players away to every corner of the galaxy far, far away. From fighting to secure the landing platforms on Cloud City, to defending Echo Base from Imperial troops, the liberation of the galaxy delivered hours of fun. And then, the sequel changed the game by adding playable characters like Jango Fett and Ki-Adi Mundu.
Now, years later, legacy fans can deploy on the front lines once more. More importantly, they can share the adventure with the next generation of troopers. Whether you pick heroes or villains, or Rebels or Empire – we’ll see you on the front lines.

Star Wars Battlefront and Star Wars Battlefront II, originally developed by LucasArts, are action/shooter games that incorporate elements of strategy, and stand among the most beloved franchise games of all time.
Look for the game to hit consoles on March 14. Will you be deploying on the Battlefront? Sound off in the comments below.
