The Monsterverse is returning this month in a REALLY big way. Our two lovable Titans reunite in Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire. The film is the fifth movie in the Monsterverse, which started back in 2014 with the remake of Godzilla. With the TV spots, trailers, the opening track, and posters that have been dropping recently, you’d think it couldn’t get any better. You’d be wrong.
Overnight, a Chinese trailer for the film has made its way online. Not only do we get to see some incredible new footage from the film, but we also get our first look at the REAL big bad of the movie. We all thought it was the Skar King. Wrong. Get ready to meet The Ice Queen, finally revealed to the world. Take a look below.
PREMISE
This latest entry follows up the explosive showdown of Godzilla vs. Kong with an all-new cinematic adventure, pitting the mighty Kong and the fearsome Godzilla against a colossal undiscovered threat hidden within our world, challenging their very existence – and our own. The epic new film will delve further into the histories of these Titans, their origins, and the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.
