Nine Perfect Strangers | Prime Video Announces Season Two Castings

Nicole Kidman will return, and Henry Golding, Mark Strong, and Lena Olin join the cast for Nine Perfect Strangers Season Two.
Prime Video has announced the castings for season two of the hit drama television series, Nine Perfect Strangers. The first season starred Nicole Kidman as Masha Dmitrichenko, the Russian founder of the Tranquillum House wellness resort. Nicole Kidman will return, and Henry Golding, Mark Strong, and Lena Olin have boarded the cast of season 2 as series regulars. Nicole Kidman will once again also executive produce the series.
The show hails from David E. Kelley, Bruna Papandrea’s Made Up Stories, Nicole Kidman’s Blossom Films, and FIFTH SEASON. FIFTH SEASON is handling the distribution of the series as well. Nine Perfect Strangers season 2 will be available to Prime Video customers worldwide, excluding the US where it is available on Hulu.

THE NEW CAST
The new cast of the second season sees Murray Bartlett as Brian, and Annie Murphy as Imogen. Christine Baranski as Victoria, Dolly de Leon as Agnes. Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Wolfie, King Princess as Tina. Aras Aydın as Matteo, Lucas Englander as Martin. Henry Golding as Peter, Mark Strong as David, and Lena Olin as Helena.
They replace the season one cast of Melissa McCarthy, and Michael Shannon. Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale. Regina Hall, Samara Weaving. Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie. Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone and Manny Jacinto.

SEASON ONE PREMISE
Nine strangers from the city gather for a 10-day retreat at Tranquillum House, a health and wellness resort in the fictional town of Cabrillo, California. Which promises to transform and heal the guests who stay there. The resort is not what it seems to be, and the guests are about to discover many secrets about each other and the resort’s host.
One of the controversies arising between the guests and resort director Masha starts when she tells them during a meal conducted at a large table that they are all given a psychoactive drug, namely Psilocybin. In very small but relevant doses in their food without their consent or even knowledge, about which the guests are upset and assume it to be a crime.
Nine Perfect Strangers Season Two is currently in production and will premiere at a later date.
