Chris Hemsworth stands tall over Anya Taylor-Joy in the new poster for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Emerging from the wastelands on May 24th.
After several years of false starts, delays and the like, next month, we will be returning to the wastelands. Director, writer and creator George Miller will be unleashing Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga onto the world. The film is a prequel to the 2015 movie Mad Max: Fury Road. The film has long been anticipated and fans are already chomping at the bit to see where Miller will take us this time.
Anya Taylor-Joy takes over the role of Furiosa from Charlize Theron. Chris Hemsworth is portraying the villainous Warlord Dementus, who is supporting the character. Lachy Hulme takes over the role of Immortan Joe from the late Hugh Keays-Byrne. Hulme also plays the role of Rizzdale Pell in the film. Tom Burke, Nathan Jones, and Angus Sampson also appear in the movie. The movie production team has just released the latest poster for the upcoming film, which displays Hemsworth as the main feature at the top while Taylor-Joy’s Furiosa stands out below him. PREMISE
Set 15 to 20 years before the events of Mad Max: Fury Road. As the world falls apart, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers. And into the hands of a Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. While two Tyrants war for dominance over the Citadel, Furiosa survives many trials. As she plots a way back home through the Wasteland.
