Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth come out from the wreckage in the new trailer for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Hitting screens in May.
After four movies with Mad Max as the main character (courtesy of Mel Gibson and Tom Hardy), this summer, he’s sitting the next movie out. Heading our way from the wasteland, writer/ director George Miller is bringing us the prequel Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Anya Taylor-Joy takes over the role of the main character from Charlize Theron while Chris Hemsworth co-stars as the villainous Warlord Dementus. Lachy Hulme takes over the role of Immortan Joe from the late Hugh Keays-Byrne.
After the first trailer for the film, we got a sense of what we could expect from the prequel. It looked as if we would be getting more mayhem and violence that only George Miller could write and deliver. With his co-writer Nico Lathouris onboard, based on characters created by Miller and the late Byron Kennedy, the story for the film sounds and looks strong. With the release of the second trailer today, that belief has been reinforced. Let’s see what is emerging from the wasteland this May.
PREMISE
As the world falls, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers. And into the hands of a Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. While two Tyrants war for dominance over the Citadel, Furiosa survives many trials as she plots a way back home through the Wasteland.

Fans of the Mad Max franchise should get their fix with the movie, as it looks to be yet another superb film in the series. Even if you’re not a fan of the franchise, there is enough here to keep you extremely entertained. It looks to be the perfect blend of action, violence, vehicular mayhem and comedy once again.
She will return with a vengeance this May when Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga opens.
