Paramount Pictures has released the first trailer for the upcoming animated movie Transformers One.
Calling all Autobots! Paramount Pictures has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming animated movie TRANSFORMERS ONE. The film is the first animated Transformers film in 40 years and promises to take us back to an era before the Cybertron wars. It will explore an era previously unexplored on film and reveal the origins of two of the franchise’s most influential characters: OPTIMUS PRIME and MEGATRON. The film is the first-ever fully CG-animated Transformers film, which makes it even more special. Check out the trailer below.
SYNOPSIS
TRANSFORMERS ONE is the untold origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron, better known as sworn enemies, but once were friends bonded like brothers who changed the fate of Cybertron forever.
NEW POSTER
In addition to the first trailer, the studio released the official movie poster. The glossy one-sheet features the four main characters of the film: Orion Pax, D-16, Elita-1, and B-127. Check it out below.

RETURN TO CYBERTRON
As mentioned above, the film will take us back to a time before the war on Cybertron and explore the relationship between Prime and Megatron before becoming bitter rivals. Prime, then known as Orion Pax, and Megatron, then D-16, went from the closest of friends to sworn enemies as the battle lines were drawn between the Autobots and Decepticons. As the war between the factions intensified, their relationship broke down, setting them off on a path that would see both sides rampage across the cosmos.

A STELLAR CAST
Paramount has amassed a colossal cast for this latest adventure to bring the film home. Chris Hemsworth stars as Orion Pax, and Brian Tyree Henry stars as D-16. Rounding out the cast are Scarlett Johansson as Elita-1 and Keegan-Michael Key as B-127. Steve Buscemi, Laurence Fishburne, and Jon Hamm also lend their voices to Transformers.
Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Tom DeSanto & Don Murphy, Michael Bay, Mark Vahradian, and Aaron Dem produce the film. Steven Spielberg, Zev Foreman, Olivier Dumont, Brian Oliver, B.J. Farmer, and Matt Quigg are executive producers.
